E-waste is the outdated computers, televisions, cell phones, printers, and thousands of other electronic devices
commonly used today. The global technological revolution is fueling a rapidly increasing e-waste disposal problem.
Sending an old computer to the landfill is undesirable because some of its components can be re-used and some parts are made with
toxic chemicals such as mercury and must be disposed of in special ways. The environmentally safe disposal of e-waste is a responsibility we all share.
